At the Faculty of Law, The Erasmus and International Relations Office (GERI) is responsible for receiving applications and managing the enrollment process for the accepted students and students from the partner universities.
In cooperation with the Faculty of Humanities, a list of language courses is provided, which the visiting students can attend.
The Student´s association cooperates with GERI in the support provided to foreign students and publishes a yearly brochure with the most relevant information for new-comers. Many social programs and activities are jointly organized by the University and Student Association. To attend to the incoming students from Brazil and Africa, there are Brazilian and African student associations in the Faculty.

At the faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, student’s travelling from European Union countries should have the European Health Card, which will grant them access to the Portuguese National Health Service. The students from Non-EU countries should have an international health insurance.
The Student Halls accept some foreign students from the Law Faculty’s International Programs. These are available through application, on the basis of availability. Because there are only a few number of places available, Erasmus and International Relations Office also provides students a comprehensive list of housing facilities in Lisbon.
There are three restaurants located in the Faculty of Law and one canteen on campus. There are also other faculties nearby on campus where students can eat too.
